Artist’s Note:“Family Trees” is from a series of collages I did while making my own family tree on Ancestry.com. Many of my ancestors were elusive as birds and it was a harrowing task to find information about them, let alone photos. I surmised that they indeed must be fowl and depicted them like so. I discovered I come from a long line of Quakers too, which was very exciting. |
