Nuala McEvoy is from North West England but has lived abroad for many years. She started writing and painting during the pandemic. Since then, she has had poetry and prose published online and in magazines and an anthology. She has also read her poems aloud on podcasts.
Nuala taught herself to paint using acrylics, and currently has exhibitions in the Vinothek am Theater and in Mio Restaurant in Münster, Germany. Her artwork can be found in Free Flash Fiction, Red Ogre Review and Quibble Lit. She has recently been interviewed about her creative process by The Madrid Review. More artwork is upcoming in Chestnut Review, Through Lines and Londemere Lit.

Artist’s Note:
Oasis was painted during the pandemic. While this period was very harsh for so many people, it was a fertile period for me artistically. I found the painting to be one of hope and comfort during such a difficult period.
