A graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe (M.A. in English), she unearths the disquiet beneath the surface of human experience. Artist’s Note:
“Untethered” examines identity and detachment—holding your own head as if it’s something that could be released at any moment. I love the pop-art palette and the surreal humor of the balloons against the patterned background. It feels lighthearted yet bittersweet, floating somewhere between joy and disconnection.
