Within Heimat’s first issue, you will find twenty seven striking pieces that work together to tell a wonderful story of reflection, of looking back and moving forward.

Issue 2

Our second issue delves into the intricate tapestry of human experience with thirty thought-provoking pieces that explore themes of loss, music, identity, and relationships.

Issue 3

Issue 3 features thirty captivating poems, short stories, and CNF essays centred around growth and change. From heart-wrenching tales to uplifting moments and lovely turns of phrase, this issue has it all.

Issue 4

This issue is filled with resilience, finding joy in unexpected places, and embracing the present moment. Many of the thirty-two pieces within detail weather, summer storms, tempests of physical and metaphorical kinds.

Issue 5

If this issue were a driveway, the magical pieces in it would be paper bag luminaries. And shine they do, in the dark nights and shifting colors of this season.

Issue 6

​Our most recent issue is guided by the theme of education, specifically the idea that we are all still learning.

Issue 7

As the summer sun warms our days, our newest issue takes flight, guiding us through a journey of dreams, sight, and transformation. Issue 7 explores the landscapes of memory, woven with threads of birds, feathers, flight, and movement all seen through varied perspectives.

Issue 8

Issue 8 will be published in October. Submit to us in August to be considered for publication in our eighth issue.
