Observation deck balances
us over water, tilts us like old maples too weary for straight. Brook’s ripples flash, wink, pennies recline on stones, emissaries of children or those seeking luck. This is an ordinary day, soon to be yesterday. See this sunset. Accept the apricot, the pink and white. Remember the ones you’ve lost, those who watch from the other side. |
